The Bumrungrad International is an internationally JCI accredited hospital located in central Bangkok, Thailand. Today it is the largest private hospital in Southeast Asia with 554 beds and over 30 specialty centers. Accreditation

Bumrungrad International is a fully accredited medical center that meets international standards of quality and patient management.

Bumrungrad is the first hospital out of over 800 hospitals in Thailand to be surveyed and awarded the prestigious Thai Hospital Accreditation.

Bumrungrad International is the first hospital in Asia and the only in Thailand to be awarded JCIA accreditation. The JCIA is the international arm of the US-based Joint Commission for the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), the accrediting body for over 18,000 hospitals in the United States. The JCIA has accredited international hospitals in Europe, South America and the Middle East.

Thailand also has its own Hospital Accreditation program conducted by the Institute of Hospital Quality Improvement & Accreditation. Bumrungrad was the first hospital in the country to be accredited by this program in 1999 and was re accredited in triennial reviews in 2002 and 2005. The Thai accreditation process is demanding: Bumrungrad is one of only 14 private hospitals in Bangkok (out of over 100) to earn it.
